Visakkha mourns with the Buddha about a new dead grandchild [1]

One day, when the Buddha was about to beg for food, the woman Visàkhà arrival, pay homage to the Buddha and sit down, whimpering crying. Buddha asked:
- Visayah, why do you look so sad today? What are you mourning?
- The Blessed One, my son's grandson Dattà has just died. I love it most home. He was only five years old and he loved to follow me to carry with him things to offer to the mendicants. Now that it's gone, I'm going to go alone. I miss it, too sad.
- What sickness to lose?
- Well, you have typhoid disease.
- Poor job too! Look, how many children do you have?
- Buddha, the existing 12 children and 5 grandchildren said as foreign. Now I only have 4 children.
- You want to have many children, right?
- Yes. White Lord, the more homes the children are happy.
- If you have as many descendents as the population in the capital of Sàvatthi, you must be very happy?
- Yes, if so, then what is equal.
- Do you know how many people die every day in the capital?
- Buddha, have nine days, ten people, six and seven days. At least one or two people. Dear Lord, in Sàvatthi there is no day without death.
" Visakha, if your descendants are as large as the people of Sàvatthi, you must cry every single day. So where is the fun?
- Buddha, you see.
- Good, so do not be sad anymore. Secular love often causes suffering and fear. Only compassion is to bring joy and true happiness to all people .
Then the Buddha said shelf:
Bear love,
Love affection born fear,
Happy not affectionate
No suffering fear . (Dhammapada, lesson 213)

Religious practitioners must know their strengths [2]

After this year's residence season, the Buddha set out for the south. He visited Migadaya in the village of Isipatana, north of the city of Benares (Varanasi), where he gave the sermon for the first time and established the Bhiksu Trinity with all three of the Three Jewels. The scene here has changed. A large tower was erected by local people to commemorate the place where the Buddha began to turn the dharma wheel. This tower was named Dhamekh Tower (Dhamaka), because of the two words Dhamma and cakra (cakra), which means Falun (Wheel of France). In Nai Nai, Kittoe hall has been built, there are many beggars who leave ammunition around the auditorium to make up a refined spiritual practice. That was 36 years ago. The Dharma wheel has circulated continuously throughout the Gangbaza Basin. After staying in the Nai Garden for a few days to lecture and encourage the public, Buddha set off to Gaya, Come to the village of Uruvelà to visit the Bodhi Tree in the past. Bodhi tree more and more fresh, branches of leaves sum. Many vows have been erected in the area. King Bimbisàra is preparing to build a memorial tower where the Buddha attained enlightenment, called Mahàbodhi Mahàvihara.
The Buddha instructed the monks to visit places where he had been diligently practicing asceticism for six years until he renounced the ascetic doctrine of the middle school, and 49 days later he became Under the pippala tree. The Buddha told the novices about the living experiences he had experienced, the practices he had practiced, the difficulties he had overcome, the experiences he had gained before and after his enlightenment. . This is the Ajapàla tree, where he received the bowl of milk porridge from two sisters Sujàtà before the evening of his enlightenment, and also where he sat in for the fifth week to meditate on the Dharma. This is the Bodhi tree, where he sat to enter university, ma military victory, proving paw through [3] and the three intelligence [4] , Then sit down for a week to experience happiness and deliverance. This is where he stood watching the Bodhi tree during the second week without winking. This is the jade path that he had to walk back and forth during the third week after enlightenment. This is the "preserve" where he sits during the fourth week to meditate on the sublime teachings (Abhidhamma). This is the Mucalinda, where he sat in for the sixth week under the heavy rain and was sheltered by the Mucalinda Snake. This is the rajayatana, where he sat for seven weeks. Your nuns today are delighted to hear a very precious, extremely lively Dharma, with historical evidence in front of them, and by the Buddha himself to speak of his own experiences and experiences. Svastika is the most touching person. He remembered when he met the Buddha for the first time here, he was only eight years old. He is now 44 years old. Do not know the sisters of the teacher, two Sujàtà sister and his herd of buffalo when the ancients where now? What do you do ? Have a family of children yet? And how do you live now? Then he thought again he is blessed be ordained Buddhist, live a leisurely life to practice virtuous high, outlined a brilliant future ...
From Gaya, the Buddha goes north-east, to Rajagaha, the capital of Magadha, and straight to Venuvana (Truc Lam). The mourners here are happy to welcome the Buddha. Here, the Buddha met with the Venerable Punna Mantàniputta. He told the Buddha to hear the progress of his teacher in the country of Sunaparantà in the past ten years. In the first year alone, 500 monks took refuge in the Triple Gem and 500 monks as nuns. You have also set up a clinic, every year there are organizations to enter there. I ask the Buddha to allow him to stay in the country of Sunaparantà because people here need his presence. The Buddha gladly accepted.
On the way to Griddhakùta, the Buddha visits the Sìtavana training center. Where Buddha met the Venerable Sona Kolivisa [5] . Venerable Sona Kolivisa asked to be ordained with the Buddha in Griddhakùta and then went to the Sìtavana seminary to study. Before he was a monk, Venerable was a weak young man, thin skin on his feet, and a great man in Campa. Seeing the great sona seems weak, sick, depressed, the Buddha called to ask:
- Hey Sona, how are you? Is learning and alms difficult?
- Lord, the health is still normal. Studying and begging is not difficult.
- Hey, Sona, while walking the leg of the teacher often torn skin bleeding, and while sitting meditation in the desert, the teacher thought to return to the lay life to enjoy the family and create merit because Do not you dare to live life?
- Well, that's right.
- Before leaving home, what do you do?
- Lord, I often like to play the game. I have learned the guitar since I was eight years old.
- Hey Sona, while playing the master how to make the music is mellow, sacred?
- Buddha, wanted for the music is tuneful, pounding the holy, right up above, before the tension cord properly. If the string is too soft music, mute deaf; If the string is too tight to break.
- Sona,  the practice is the same. If you are lazy, your career can not be accomplished. If you try to overwhelm your endurance, you are tired, sick, decadent . Hey Sona, you must know how to self-energize yourself, develop your mind to practice but do not force your mind too much. So he hopes to achieve the profession.
For a moment, Lord Buddha continued [6] :
- Sona, want to cultivate  fruitful, practitioners must choose the method of tu tu suitable with their character, talents and qualifications , such as the familiar work of metalworkers, The launderer should practice white spirit; And to know the time should be only (Dinh), time should tu Quan (Tue), what time should practice.
"Sona,  when you are arrogant because you find yourself well-versed in catechism, good sermon, good answers, and revered by many people ... then do not practice wisdom (Panna) Proper practice (Samadhi) .
When the practitioner discouraged found himself discouraged because of incompetence, not tame the negativity, not tamed 6 units, incorrect precepts doubt ... you should not cultivate only (Samatha) which must Wardrobes (Vipassana) .
When the practitioner sees two virtues and their knowledge is not equal, the heart is not confident, the heart is not safe, then should not be happy. At the equality of equanimity, upeksa (Upekkhà, upeksa) , that is , the abandonment of self-cultivation and legal to cultivate. Emptiness is calm mind, not only, not consistent.
When you see a strong mind should diligently cultivate the shop or, not so remote.
When you see the oscillation center insecurity should cultivate specified (ie books, customized news and only), should not be self-governing .
When you see emerging interest lewd should shop impure, do not shop compassion.
When you see the anger rising interest should be consistent compassion, not to shop impure .
When you see the deluded mind of conditions should be consistent, not consistent impure or compassion .
"Sona, you  should learn and practice according to the Seven Senses [7] (sattabbojjanga, saptabodhyanga), thoughts, diligence, effort, diligence, contemplation, concentration, discharge, to achieve good results .
- Lord, I obey you teach.
Brother Sona Kolivisa rejoiced to give thanks to Buddha. After that, he went up to Mt. Rinpoche and became arahant.END=NAM MO AMITABHA BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH GIAC TAM.THE MIND OF ENLIGHTENMENT.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN AMITABHA PURELAND=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.14/5/2017.
