CHAPTER II  
THE cetasika OR  CENTER FACILITY

PART ONE:  TYPES OF  DEPARTMENT

A  mind is  not a  simple unit  . Mind  is a  complex synthesis  of  mental  states or Cetasika. The  element  was created  devotional  form and live in and with  the mind does.

For example in the chapter 89 goals in mind already before, the most simple mind is Cakkhuvinnana ( consciousness ), Sotavinnana ( consciousness ) ..., the center is the  feeling of  pure , not  infected ,  affected  by the  thinking  on the subject. But if  we  look closely,  we will find that the mind  consists of  seven  mental states : 

1) Phassa (touching the subject to the object),  
2) and Vedanta (feeling:  the feeling  of the subject, under  the influence  of the object),  
3) Sanna (Idea:  Pay attention  to the object),  
4) cetanā (From: heaven to object),  
5) Ekaggata ( Nhut mind :  attention  to the object),  
6) Jivitindriya ( network based ) and  
7) manasikara ( volition  to object).

The seven  mental states  start at  once , not before. They are the same object with consciousness and emanate from one consciousness. When they are destroyed, these  mental states  also go away.

52  concomitants  all, are classified as follows: 13 Annasamana (At disagreement  concomitants ) divided into 2 categories: 7  Variable operating concomitants (Sabbacittasadharana) and 6  Biet scene concomitants (Pakinnaka), 14  Real good concomitants  and 25  Pure optical concomitants  (Sobhana). 52  mental states  is  coordinated  and replaced each other to form the other eccentricity,  discrimination .

52  CENTER

I. PÀLI VAN. 

- 1) Ekuppàdanirodhà ekàlambanavatthukà, Cetoyuttà dvipannàsa dhammà cetasikà matà.

II. ADVICE. 

- Ekuppada: b. Ekanirodha: Copper kill. Ekàlambana: Copper an object. Ekavatthuk: One place. Cetoyuttà:  Same  as mind. Dvipannàsa: 52. Dhamma: France. Cetasika:  Mind basis . Mata:  The past  participle of Mannati: Known as.

III. WRITE AN ESSAY. 

- 1)  In accord  with the mind with 52  mental states , they co-initiate with the mind, coexist with the mind, the same object and one with the mind.

IV. ADVICE . 

- This paragraph speaks to their mental states   and their  behavior  . 52  concomitants  all and it arises, and destroyed  once  the center and at an object, a property with care. No mind can  exist  without  mental states . Both mind and  mental states  of mind that arise and disappear  simultaneously . Thus a  mental state  must have all four characteristics on the new  mental state . There is a kind of identity called Vinnattirupa ( spoke  excellent) also  being destroyed simultaneously  with the mind, but can not be called  mental states  due to lack of two  conditions  later. According to Abhidhamma, There are 52 mental states  all. Life except  concomitants (Vedanta) and great  mental states  (Sanna), 50  concomitants  rest belong sankhāra ( volitional ).

7  DEPARTMENT OF DEPARTMENT

I. PÀLI VAN.

- 2) Katham, Phasso, vedanà, Sannà, Cetana, Ekaggatà, Jivitindriyam, Manasikàro, ceti sattime cetasikà sabbacittasada drakanam.

II. ADVICE. 

- Katham? Why? Phasso: Touching. Vedanà: feeling. Sannà: Imagine. Cetana: From. Ekaggatà: All  right . Jìvitindriyam:  Network root . Manasikàra:  The idea . Sattime: Satta + ime = Seven ( concomitants ) this. Sabbacittasadharana: How heart Nhut  variable operating  ( concomitants ). Nàma: Called.

III. WRITE AN ESSAY. 

- Why? Feeling, feeling, thinking,  mind ,  network ,  volition . These seven  minds  are called mind-  centered mental phenomena .

IV. ADVICE . 

1) Phassa:  The word  root Phas: Touch. Phassa the touching of objects subject to  physical  or  mental . The contact is first mentioned, because it comes before the other mind. According to the twelve  factors , conditions are first and then to life. In fact ,  mental states  arise  once , not before time, but forethought for convenience of presentation. 

2) Vedanta is feeling,  word  root meaning Vid  experience ,  feeling territorial . Life can be a  pleasant feeling (sukha),  unpleasant  (dukkha) and neither happy nor unhappy (adukkhamsukha). Vedana itself senses  the subject, when  the object touches  the  senses . 

3) Sannà, the  word  Sam + nà means to know. This is  perceived  object as a minister blue etc .. The Sanna help us  recognize  an object that  once before we were  aware  through  the senses . Just like a carpenter who has known  the type of wood thanks to the pre-recorded marks on the wood panels. 

4) Cetana  words  based cit means  thinking ,  coordination  and  substance containing  the  concomitants  sentences friendship with her on the subject. Cetanā  govern  and  dispose  of all  activities . For the  Fitness World  Center, Cetana active role. For  Supramundane  center, tri Property Panna active role. The sphere of the mind leads to the  substance  of kamma and the  supreme  mind towards the  elimination  of karma. Thus, Cetana in the  Super  World does not  become kamma.   

Ekaggatà ( mind ): Eka + agga + evil, ie  focused  on an object, like a fire in a place without wind, like a pillar without the wind shake.  This mind is a  member  of Zen. When the  mind  is developed and cultivated, it  becomes Samadhi. 

6) Jìvitindriya:  life network : Jìvita is the network, Indriya is the root. The reason called a network for  nurturing  the  mental states  the property , and called for units  operating  the  concomitants  the property . If Cetana  disposal  operations,  the network  senses the  nurturing  of life for Cetana and  mental states  otherwise. There are two types of Jitivindriya. One is Nàma-Jìvitindriya ( the root cause ), the other is Rūpa-jìvitindirya. ( Identity network ). The network  nourishes  the mind,  mental state,  material life  nourishing  rupa . As showers  are  nourished  by water, as kids are who breast  feeding , the  condition of mind  and material  are Jivitindriya nourished . Both the root  and lattice roots  are born  when the fetus is born  , and will be destroyed  when the lattice . So the dead can see the eradication  of Jivitindriya. The mind and rupas are fed by Jitivindriya . Both the root and lattice roots are born when the fetus is born , and will be destroyed when the lattice . So the dead can see the eradication of Jivitindriya. The mind and  rupas are fed by Jitivindriya  . Both  the rootand  lattice roots are born when the  fetus is  born , and will be  destroyed when the  lattice . So the dead can see the  eradication of Jivitindriya. 

7) Manasikàra ( volition ) means bringing the mind to the object, as well as the steering wheel to bring the boat to its destination . A  mind does not  have  the intention  and the boat without a rudder. Manasikara is different from Vitakka. The intention of  the  mental state  on the object, the range of  mental factors  on the object. 7  mental factors  mentioned above also arise when all mentioned center called Sabbacittasadharana ( Variable operating concomitants ).

6  TOWN OFFICE

I. PÀLI VAN. 

- 3) Vitakko, Vicàro, Adhimokkho, Viriyam, Pìti, Chando and his father imet cetasik pakinnak nàma.

6  Mind facility  mentioned above have  shown  departure in all  kinds of  attention, but not in every heart.

1) Vitakka, the root of Vi + takk ( thinking ). This word has many  different meanings between the  Sutra and Abhidhamma. In  canon , Vitakka mean  point  of thought . In Abhidhamma organs, Vitakka means  especially  is suppressing the  concomitants on the object. As a  special scene concomitants , Vitakka just means  concomitants normal, but in  meditation , Vitakka  become  a  mental factor  important in  the easiest  meditation and called Appanavitakka. When Vitakka arise in Lokuttara maggacitta ( Supramundane direction center), 

2) Vicàra: Quartet; Vi + car (go here and there). Vicara the  continued  repression of mind on the subject. As bee landed on a flower is Vitakka, flying round or  detour around the flower is Vicara. Flapping like a bird about to fly is Vitakka, when hover on  nowhere  is Vicara. Like drumming or ringing the Vitakka, the echoes, the drum bells are Vicaras. Vicara is also an  element  of meditation, Vicara  eradicate vicikiccha (Comfort). 

3) Adhimokkha ( winner of ) Adhi + item,  release . Adhimokkha release the mind on the subject. Adhimokkha's personality is a  decision , a  choice , as well as a judge  to judge  a case. 

4) Viriya  the word  radical Vaj, go and ir. Because instead of Aj. Vira is a diligent man  ,  determined to work without rest. As the old house is the new pillar  prop , so the  mental states  the property  is Viriya  prop . Viriya was one of the 5 measures  the five senses  (indriya) because  eradicate  laziness . Viriya is also one of the  five forces (bala) because it can not be  lazy to  move. This Viriya becomes the Four  Noble Truths (Sammappadhàna), 

5) Piti: Hy, from, primitive Pi:  happy ,  excited . Not a  feeling  like Sukha but before Sukha. Piti was  found  in good and  evil  heart. Identity is to make the mind  interested  in the subject. There are 5 types of Pti:

1. Khuddaka pìti, the  joy  that causes the skin to rise like a rag; 
2. Khanika Piti,  momentary  joy, just start out in a moment like lightning; 
3. Okhantika pìti, royal tide, as sea tide; 
4. Ubbega pìti, the uppermost chalice, can fly up to  nowhere  like a wind-swept cotton; 
5. Pharana pìti, full  of  joy, absorbed  whole body  like flood waters over the lake.

6) Chanda, the  word  chad:  desire , want, characteristic of Chanda is to do (kattukamyatà), like holding hands to grasp the object. There are three types of chanda:

1. Kamacchanda means  greed ,  completely  immoral ; 
2. Kattukamyatà chanda is only the  desire  to do, not good and not evil; 
3. Dhammachanda, that is, the desire for righteousness   . This has caused major Dhammachanda  Prince  Siddhartha, I  left home .

14  ANYTHING  CENTER

I. PÀLI VAN. 

- 4) Moho, ahirikam, anottappam, uddhaccam, lobho, ditthi, dada, doso, issa, macchariyam, kukkuccam, tynam, middham, vicikicchà ceti cuddasime cetasikà akusalà nàma.

II. ADVICE. 

- Moho: Si, Ahirikam:  heartless . Anottappam:  Noble . Uddhacca:  Stuttering . Lobho: Tham. Ditthi:  Wrong . Curve: Chronic. Doso: yard. Issà: Tắt. Macchariyam: Xan. Kukkuccam: Islam. Thìna: Bad  marriage . Middha:  Swedish newspapers . Vicikicchà: Nghi. Cuddasa: 14.

III. WRITE AN ESSAY. 

- 4) Si,  heartless ,  very precious ,  agitation , greed,  wrong , romance, golf, travel, xan, exchange,  dullness ,  torpor , Comfort, 14  mental states  are called  unwholesome  mental states .

IV. ADVICE . 

- 1) Moha, the  word  Muh, is  stunned , confused. Moha is one of three  fundamental afflictions  and current in all  unwholesome  mind. Moha main obstacles the  understanding  of  karma  and justice  Four . 

Ahirika:  It  is not  ashamed  to do evil. A devoted person will rot away from evil as the rooster feathers rot in front of a red fire. A person without Hiri can do all things without  hesitation . 

3) Anottappa:  Noble . Na + ava + Tapp: being  distressed ,  uneasy . Ottappa: It is the  fear of  doing evil, fearing the result of evil. Anottappa is like  a butterfly  , scorched wings so afraid of fire. A person who does not have all  kindness  can do all the evil. Dam and quarter often go  together . It is a  shame  for your  conscience  , but you are a  fear of  the  outsiders ridiculed  and the result of evil do. Tam  on  lap  ashamed , you  rely on the  heart  of fear . When there is love, People think about the status of their lives  , their teachers, their friends. When in your heart, people saw  fear  than wonder, because  criticism  of people, because of the penalty, because of  the consequences  to  the next life  etc .. Tam and you are considered two  factors fundamental  to a  society  civilized . 

4) Uddhacca:  agitation  words  based U (on) + Dhu,  oscillations  emerged,  such as the status  of the ashes must be thrown stone. It is  the state of  vibration  of the  mind . Deception  belongs to one of the  five  (nìvarana) and is replaced by Sukha in the  first  meditation. In some  cases  special , Uddhacca used of  arrogance , 4  concomitants  Si,  heartless ,  

5) Lobha (craving) the  word  Ludh means embracing, embracing. Whenever something  good comes in, the  moment of  greed  arises. 

6) Ditthi:  Ta is ,  words  based Dis means to see,  perceive . Moha (si) and Ditthi ( wrong view ). Si overlay objects, there is Ditthi  perspective ,  is  his, this is  true , this is good etc .. Ditthi contrast with NANA (Hotel). Recreational see things right with  possible nature of it, also Ditthi time  dismissed  able nature  and there  is  wrong ,  mistaken . 

7) Mana (chronic)  words  diligence means  thinking ,  arrogant , proud  self in . 

8) Dosa (yard) The  word  dus means rash, not content. 

9) Issà: (  From the word  i + su, meaning  jealousy . Seeing others  wealth  and  success  being free  of jealousy . 

10) Macchariyam means  mixed , oil closed the  wealth  around. 

11) kukkucca:  Regret  kukatassa bhavo,  state  when nothing was making a  mistake. Repentance  has done evil and regret  the good  does not do. 

12) Thina:  Kiss bass ,  words  based the means retract,  withdraw ,  state  of mind co  retract as chicken feathers before the fire. 

13) Middha  the term  Middha root means not  working , not capable. Middha is  the weakness of the  mind . Thina and middha often coupled  with each other  and one of  the five female  and are  concomitants  Vitakka (range)  to eradicate . Thina considered the sickness of  the mind  (citta) and middha considered the sickness of the body (kaya-gelanna), but the word Kaya here does not mean that  the body which is the synthesis of the  mental states  ( Vedanà, sannà and sankhàrà: feelings, thoughts and actions. 

14) Vicikicchà. Vici means  learn . Kicchati is depressed, tired ,  discouraged to  find out  no results. Vi has no meaning, Cikiccha: drugs  for treatment , lack of drugs  for treatment  of  understanding .

25  FOCUS ON DEPARTMENT

I. PÀLI VAN. 

-5) saddhà, Sati, Hiri, Ottappam, Alobho, Adoso, Tatramajjhattata, Kayapassaddhi, Cittapassaddhi, Kayalahuta, Cittalahuta, Kayamuduta, Cittamuduta, Kayakammannata, Cittakammannata, Kayapagunnata, Cittapagunnata, Kayujjukata, Cittujjukata, Ceti ekunavisatime cetasika nàma sobhanasadharana.

II. ADVICE.

3 and 4) Hiri and Ottappa (see ahiri and anottappa in the previous paragraph). 

5) Alobha  greed , against Lobha (tham). Alobha imply that dana ( alms ), an  attitude of  selfless  positive . Like a drop of water on  the lotus leaf  and run down, Alobha's character is not attached to the object. 

6) Adosa,  contrary to  Dosa. This is not only a yard, but a positive virtue  . Adosa  synonymous with  Metta, means  kindness . The character of Adosa is the  absence of  angry indignation  . 

7) Tatramajjhattatà: Tatra here, ie for objects. Majjhattatà: that is, the middle, equivalent. Characteristics of  mental states  is considered an object  carefree  as the coachman see a peer a pair of dexterous control horses. At times, Tatramajjhattata is synonymous with  upekkhà ( discharge ) as in the four  immeasurable  mind . This mind can be one of the seven  Enlightenment . This differs from upekkhà Tatramajjhattata in mind ahetuka ( inhuman  mind) but can co-launch with the kusala citta upekkhà in ( kindness ).

12 and 13) Kayamudutà and Cittamudutà. Characteristics of  mental states  is  to eliminate  the opposition and coarse and  mental states  are like a piece of rough skin, but  become  highly skilful  as oiled and water immersion. Mental states  is  to treat  the  wrong views  and romantic. 

14 and 15) Kaya-kammannatà and Citta-kammannatà. Kamma + Aya +  evil means that  adaptation  can be  applied  to anything. This mind  is like a red-hot iron that can do anything. 

16 and 17) and Cittapagunnata Kayapagunnata means  refined  fluent . Identity is the  eradication  of mental and mental illness  . 

18 and 19) Kayujjukata and Cittujjukata - means the  justice  of  concomitants  and mind  to treat with  crooked  so evil .

THREE  BOTTLES , TWO  VOLUME  AND  MEASURING CENTRAL  DEPARTMENT

I. PÀLI VAN. 

Sammàvàcà, sammà-kammanto, sammà-àfìvo ceti tisso viratiyo nàma.

-7) Karunà Mudità Mr. appamannayo ti ti sabbathà pi pannindriyena saddhim pancavìsatime cetasikà sobhanāti veditabbà.

II. ADVICE.

- Together with six  mental states  , and 19  variable operating  clear light mental states  above, all 25  Pure Optical concomitants . Virati  the word  radical Vi (zero) + sorrow (sense), meaning not to enjoy. Ultimately  , these three  mental states  start  together  in the  Supramundane  . In   other cases , they are separate because there are three Cetana. Three  mental states  when the current launch in  Supramundane mind, into the  element  of Maggacitta ( spirituality ) and meeting the world (sila). 

Right Speech  is not lied to, not speak double-edged, does not speak evil words   and does not speak a  language . Righteousness  is not  killing ,  stealing  and  committing adultery . Righteousness  is not selling poison, alcohol, weapons,  slaves  and animals to  kill . 

Appamanna:  goon  basis. Because the subject of two  mental states  are  countless beings  should noun Appamanno ( immeasurable ). 4  immeasurable  is Metta, Karuna, Mudita, upekkhà ( Compassion  petal ). Since Adosa ( adosa ) Metta only, and only for upekkhà Tatramajjhattata (discharge) should just say Karuna and Mudita only. 

Mettà  word  mida, soothing,  loving . It is the  desire to  plead for the happiness  of all  beings . Mettà is not  material love  , nor is it  sympathy . Metta covers the  wholebeing  without exception. Mettà's ultimate is that of being  able to  enter  the ego  with all  beings . (Sabbatthatà).  

Karuna (compassion),  the word  apartment Kar (make) + UNA, what makes the heart of people of good  vibrations before the  suffering  of  beings  known as Karuna (compassion), so as  to dissipate  the  suffering  of others and Karuna . Characteristics of Karuna is the wish  to eradicate  the  suffering  of the  people . 

Mudità (Hy) the  word  Mud ( happy ). Not only  sympathetic  empty  but  the  happy couple with  affection  her. Mudita characteristics of the  joy  for the  riches success of others. Mudità cover all  living beings  rich and  happy . 

Upekkhà (discharge): Upa ( carefree , Secretarial determination) + ikkh (see), which means to see things in a  carefree , not injured do not hate. It is  the state of  balance of  mind . Upekkhà characteristics of an  attitude is  not  impartial ,  disinterested .

I. PÀLI VAN. 

8) Ettàvatà ca,  
Terasannasamaka ca cuddasākusala tathà,  
Sobhanà pancavìsati dvipannàsa pavuccare.

II. ADVICE.
