Part II - Lesson 3  
Causation 

A-  Introduction
H eraclite, a  philosopher  of ancient Greece, saying: «No one can set foot twice on the same water line«. That has to tell the  changes  constantly  of  man  and  the world  of things  phenomenon . All  that exists  is  the existence  of interdependence, which always takes place  within the  cause and effect . and also in relation to  causation  of this  problem  the moral  ethics  of Buddhism  is in place under the name of good and evil now. Offal, To speak of cause and effect  -  karma  refers to a process of  human artifacts , and from there to create a  peaceful life   or suffering for every  human being ; in which every  thought  and act  particular is a natural  motivation is to create  so  state psychological  security or  insecurity ,  is created  so  the life happy  or  unhappy . Of course,  during the process artifacts ( cause and effect  -  karma ) that, People  always  play a central  and proactive role. Here, according to  the Buddha  taught, without any one  dominant  yet by one  power , by a creator,  a divine  etc .. in the process of creating her work, but only  humans  and acts dynamic  psychology  of it only.   
B / - Content
I- Definition
The  religion  in general are  concepts  differ in  cause and effect . Here,  we  only  learn  purely  on  causation  under the concept  of  Buddhism .
Multiply  is  the cause , the  result  is the result. In the  world  correlates  interdependent , each of the objects,  phenomena  are the  cause  of it. The cause  of  the possible  (legal) called  people , and  existing  (legal) of  the can  exist  as  result . In relation  of cause and effect  , each  being  both a  cause  is both a result of the  circulation  of clouds, rain, water, steam ... Cause of  the (direct) of an  existence called  human ,  cause  secondary ( indirect ) can  influence  the results called  grace  (or  condition  dependent ); Therefore, if enough is said cause - condition - fruit. 
II- Content
In relation to  causation , as mentioned, there are other  factors  coast ( intermediate)  interjected ; Therefore, the  achievement of  a fruit must  depend on the conditions. Therefore, here  we  need to  note  some points as follows:
In the causal doctrine  , a  person  can not bring one, or one can not have only one. And  cause and effect  are usually  allies . For example, the egg hatches only in the hen's chicken, but not in  the case of hatching eggs. There is no  confusion  in  the other .
*  Cause and effect  but the same variety ( fellow ), but by the  grace medium time  interjected , so may result's the same type but different from human remains. For example:  a handful of  salt if put in the bowl of soup is salty, but if put into the  immense lake  is not salty. This  difference depends on the conditions (pros and cons) and accordingly the result.
*  Cause and effect  -  karma  is the  existence  of the good-evil relationship, pastor-deviant etc .., it belongs  compounded  kill  which is  the embodiment  of  the notion of discrimination ; Therefore, with the  mind of purity  and renunciation,  the problem of cause and effect -  karma is  no longer discussed.
III Classification  causality
Often, a fruit when formed it should have all  the main causes and  auxiliary causes  , so  causality  is considered through many aspects such as  time ,  space ,  physics ,  psychology,  etc.
1- Class 1 (  over time ):
a-  Causation simultaneously :  A type  of causality  that's going to result from very rapid. For example: eating satiety, drinking water, thirst, anger,  sadness etc.
b-  Causation  another time : A type  of causality  that  time  go to the fruit have a period  of time . And  that time  is divided into three categories as follows:
*  Show report : That is  karma  in life  is brought to  the retribution right  in life  is. For example, small age worry  Study hard to grow up  to become  people who have  knowledge .
*  Student newspaper : It means creating human  life  , but to the  next life  new life  retribution . For example,  the Tibetan Sutra  says that whoever teases,  the next life  will be born to apes, monkeys.
*  Post newspaper : It means creating human  life  , but to the  next life New Life  Retribution  (see  story  predecessor , Born Bon,  Bon A ).
Three of  causality  because there is a  time  relatively  stable (with distance), so they are classified  for now . Also  the case because the  causal  intermediaries  intervene heavily in making  karma becomes difficult to determine the  time  and type. In  this case  , they are called  unmistakable . The three times of  cause and effect ,  and also the  answer  why (in some  cases ) there are people who make good  in  this lifeare  unhappy , and vice versa, 
2) - Category 2 (  physical  and  psychological ):  This classification is to indicate to the expression of  karma  through  attitude  psychology  to  life now ,  and  speak about different ways of  karma  Between  psychology  and  physics , between  inner and  outer .
a-  Inner  and  outer world :  Causation  expression in  psychology  of  man  known as  causal  inner  ( inner world ) and the opposite is  external  ( the external world ).
As  if  a  monk was  slandered in jail, that person was in jail, but his mind was  calm , liberated,  and free . Thus,  kamma results  only in the body and not in the mind.
b-  psychology  and  physics : The different expression of  cause and effect  on the  human  being divided into two parts:  the psychological  and  the physical .
As a person  's body  ( physical  physics )  ugly , difficult to see, but the mind is  intelligent  and  wise ,  gentle ,  generous  and  practicing  good ( same goes for the  case  vice versa).
However , there are  cases where  both  the  body and mind  are  blessed , or vice versa.
IV- The  category of  causality
May say that  causality  is the  doctrine  associated with the  life  practice  of every  Buddhist ,  attached to  the  issue  moral  ethics  of the  people ; and  causation  was seriously posed  problems  responsibility  of  people for themselves as well as the  society . Because  the Buddha  taught that: "Man is the master of karma, heirs of self-employment" ( Tang Chi II , Thich  Minh Chau ,  Van Hanh Buddhist  Institute, 1982, p. 101). From that,  
1.  Cause and effect  -  problem moral  ethics  of Buddhism :  First, the  doctrine of causation teach  people  awake in his volitional actions to alienate the evil and  attempt  to do  good works  in order to bring Peaceful peaceful  life. Doctrine  of causation  focused on  the issue of good and evil , ie the  issue moral  ethics  of the  people  in general and of every  Buddhists in particular. However , issues critical  of the  doctrine  of causation  is that it places  responsibility for  individuals  of every  human  on the  conditions  of life  people  did. Therefore, it is impossible  to categorize the  doctrine of  cause and effect  - the  morality of  Buddhist ethics   - in a conventional pattern as the  law  is  promulgated  in  society . For example, an offender , the law  will  punish  y when  acts offenders  are identified - ie he has  done that  sin , while, with  ethics  and  morals , he will be guilty even if the  notion of sin (evil ) Arises in his mind, although that is only a  concept  , not  a behavior . Therefore,  responsible individuals  under the  doctrine of cause and effect , here, is responsible for  the highest for  attitude psychological ethics  of every  man ,        
In some  cases , the wise man can  escape the law , but with  the moral  ethics , they can not  escape  the conscience of his own. So, if standing on the  aspects  of education ,  the doctrine of cause and effect  is really a  method of  education  is extremely  healthy  and  active . Because from the beginning,  the spirit  of causality has brought  people  back to itself. Humans  must  fully  bear  the responsibility  of  thinking  and acting on their own. Happiness  or suffering is created for you. There is no  punishment  or  reward  here, nor is there any  doctrine  or doctrine that can be  established  on the basis  of causation  of  Buddhism . Such a  moral   ,  human  and  positive moral  ,  intellectually  and humanly like, if  applied to every  human beingFamily , school and  society ; surely would lead to a life of  peace ,  happiness .
2.  Cause and effect  - the beginning of the process  the award  Escape:  As mentioned,  the doctrine  of cause and effect  put  the focus  on the  problem  friendly-evil-evil chief,, good-bad etc .., ie the  problems  associated to  life  ethics  of  humansHowever , that is also the starting point of the  human being  to  enter the  religion. But for  Buddhism , the  enlightenment  and  liberation  not only in the field of cause and effect-good and evil, but also go  farther  again, it is going out of  the world  to distinguish ,  
Because of this,  the Buddha  taught that dhammas are  not self . Therefore, every  distinction between  good and evil ... is the product of  the notion  that is  born  of the presence of  self . Here, it is vitally important is to  attempt  thinking  and  realize  that there is no presence whatever one  down ideas  do indeed  exist ; All are  selflessOnce realized  this means that has  walked up  the road to  go to the  world  the reality  of liberation  -  a world  world beyond all  conceptual distinction , everything  falls idea  crazy ,  world  of  purity , detachment and  wealth concept . Here, death  life and death  of  causation  does not exist anymore, so that when  fall idea  is  to let go of  the  craving  and  clinging  will  dissipate , and when the  ego ideal , Craving  and  attachment  are  destroyed  , the pillar of  the world  of  causal correlation  of  good and evil karma   has collapsed; This is  the meaning  of  supreme Nirvana . 
V- Some  comment  on  causal doctrine 
Through the work presented above,  causality  has  positioned  very important in  explaining  differences  separate now  results in every  man , and  set  up a platform  ethical  moral Buddhist  teachings are  cloned  and  integrated pole . Causality according to  Buddhism  is not  fate , nor bring  nature  predestination  inherent. Because, the existence  of  humans  is not  simply  just  depends  on who has sown  in life to live  the past , but it also  depends  right where the action (new business) artifacts in  the present . This too liberal for  people aisle  dynamic ,  positive  to  overcome  all the obstacles of  karma , may even  terminate  the line  mortal  suffering at the  life  of this. Actually , as  the Buddha  taught, All kamma  (of  countless pastlives ) has focused on the body of the  five aggregates  , the  remaining problem  is the  act of  making contact between the  body  and  the world ,  namely  the new kamma. work through communication between base 6, 6 ceiling  to the  form (or 6 formula)  feeling  happy, sad, suffering, lost or no suffering, no communication only. From there, the path of  liberation  honest , really is not the  karma  of  the five aggregates , which is  behavioral  artifact of  the five aggregates . So  when  we realized that  the five aggregates  are  selfless , they have no  nature  and no longer  craving  and  clinging to  the five aggregates  is me, is mine, is my self; At that moment,  cause and effect  -  karma  will no longer  exist .
In the  classic ,  straight or  speak about  causality  worldly appearance , but  in fact , if even  at that  time this  negativity ,  illegal or  was the total extinction of the  production that  is  in the world , as well as  shower  rose to from the water and bloom between  nowhere  endless .
C-  Conclusion
Cause and effect  -  karma  is  dependent  , so there  is no  reason that it  is permanent permanently. The problem  is the  attempt to  utilize the  power  of the  shining wisdom  of the self to  go into  the realm  of  reality; that is the  picture  of the level  Arhat  has  ended  line  of rebirth in a country  on earth  this.
