1. [227] "And what, monks, there are three types of magic (metamorphosis). Three magic? Miracle of miracles, to know the mind wonders, wonders about teaching.
"And what, monks, wonders about what is Kabbalah? Here, monks, a monk experiences the kind of psychic (supernatural powers) are different; he turns out a lot, ... [and so as in the argument I e. 527 to] ... what he himself flies away to the realms of Brahma. This, monks, is called the miracle of miracles.
"And what, monks, said the magic of the mind * What is? Here, the monks, by signs [such as posture], one said: 'Did you like that, like his attention, his mind is so' and he said much though where he said it is true and nothing else. There are people who do not by signs, but by hearing a human voice or the voice of the people is not, or the gods, [1] he said: 'Did you like that, like his attention, his mind as such 'and though he said much to start, he said it is true and nothing else. There are people who do not speak through visual signs, not by listening to human voices or nonhuman voice, or the gods, but after hearing [2] of the words clearly reflect knowledge 2 * , he said: 'did you like that, like his attention, his mind is so' and though he said much to start, he said it is true and nothing else. Arahant path that must be cultivated as such, must be developed as such, must be enriched so, contemplation must be set right with that same path: this is by teaching evolution.
