CHAPTER 4
THE RESPONSIBILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY OF  RESIDENCE

Both rows  disciples ,  ordained  and  lay , are able to keep  bodhisattva world , if self  willingly perform  acts love, pity, Hy, Conditioner,  selflessness ,  altruism ,  sacrifice themselves  to save  sentient beings . 
Customers  ordained  retired from  relatives  and  secular , barber to the temple, living  the life  singles , with  the task  practice ,  propagate Dharma ,  leadership spirit . 
Customers  at home  with  family  and duty to  community  society , have  the task  of guardian ,  supply  needs, food to every  renunciation . 
Each party shall have the  status ,  duties  and  powers,  separate, non-overlapping but  contrary  to respect and  support  each other. Buddha  often for two rows  disciples  ordained  and  lay  like two wings of birds, meet both, the new  operating effectively  is. He  emphasized  the equality of two  disciples , not only  the  newly  ordained ordained  and  realized ,   
Of course  ,  the  monk is easy to learn, easier evidence than  at home  because  theconditions are  convenient to practice , home goods  ,  there are many things in life such as finding  livelihood , teaching children, public duties people,  time  spent in  practice  not much more is hard practicing every  ordained  much. So have a saying: "The most difficult is practicing  at home , the second difficult market cultivation, hardly three pagoda." 
The duty of  lay people  living in  the family

As for  parents , they also have obligations to their children, to  preserve ,  teach  the children away from their wicked ways, encourage children to do the  good  and  benefit , the children were given a background  education thoughtful, find the  family of honesty  for their children to marry and the children have  grown up  , then divide  the inheritance  to them. 
Second:  the relationship  between teachers and students. The student must  respect and  obey the teacher, must pay attention to the  needs  of the teacher, if he needs, to take care of  school . To the teacher, must  conscientiously  taught to  students in a caring way,  introduce  you to the game and when the game good graduation, then try  to find  employment  to  ensure  a livelihood  for the game.

Fourth :  the relationship  between friends,  relatives , neighbors:  Everyone  must be kind  and affectionate  to each other , talk  fun ,  gentle , work  together to benefiteach other and treat  equally.  together , do not quarrel, but to help each other when needed and do not be  abandoned  when people encounter  situations  difficult. 
Fifth :  the relationship  between employer and employee: the employer has a lot of obligations to the servants or employees, must work to get the right job , the salary must be adequate, must  provide  Medications and  occasional  rewards for people. On the part of the employee, he must work diligently, not lazy, must be  honest  and obedient  , do not  cheat,  lie  and must be dedicated in the work. 
Friday :  contact  between  monks  and  laymen : to awe you, the  laity  must be concerned  about the needs  of material  of the  monks , the  monks  to  spread the knowledge  to  lay  with broken  hearts from  marbles ,  Compassion  and guide them on the  right path , not to the  wrong path . 
Thus,  we  have seen clearly that even a people  normally  live in  families ,  attend those  living  outside of  society , they still  enjoy  the teaching  chemistry of  Buddha,  still  can  cultivate , create the  peace in the  lifestyle  of a  Buddhist . 
The  duty  of the  deacon
Layers  are  a  large part of the two  disciples  of  the Buddha . Therefore, in addition to the duty of the  family , outside  society  and  upholding the Buddha  law who  lay still have a duty to  attempt  to practice ,  practice  to contribute to  spreading the teachings , that is contributing to  turning of the wheel  to bring Light  free life. So, ministry of lay  is  extremely  important in the development of  Buddhism  in the  sense  of forgiveness  , as well as prepare  circumstances  nice  for his freedom. Historically,  there were many Buddhist kings  who  had   great merit in propagating the  dharma, typically  the king of Asoka in  India , King  Tran Nhan Tong of  Vietnam,  and  Emperor Wu of China.
