Mind is sowing seeds. 
All seeds filled with the 
Heart is the 
whole seed.

This recitation comes from many works. The Samyutta Nikaya says a lot about seed (bīja). The seed symbolizes the continuation of the dharma. If you look deeply into reality, look deeply into life and into the heart of things, you can see seeds in many different forms.

Mind is sow . The land here is an image. If you want to preserve the seeds, there is something to store. Nothing stored or grounded. We plant marigold plants, perilla. By autumn, the flowering and seedling trees fall to the ground and are stored until April of the following year, sprouting up into tiny shades of Perilla.

Land has the ability to preserve and maintain the seeds. Mind also has the ability to preserve and maintain the seeds. That ability, the nous is the power (adāna). Energy is capable, store is stored. Land is a wonderful image to describe the nature of the mind.

In the introduction of the Tibetan scriptures, there is a great praise for the great Bodhisattva Bodhisattva: "The compassion of the great teacher. One day, Zen Master Baek Truong Hoai Hai (720-814) teaches to the masses, a teacher asks about the path of liberation and enlightenment. Bamboo Master replied with a verse, "Mind, the sun," which means: When the land of mind is clear, the sun of wisdom comes naturally.

Zen monk Zen Hoi - the first Zen monk of Vietnam (early third century) in the title of Thu An Sutra, has a heart like the sea. Thousands of rivers flow to the sea. All that we see, hear, smell, taste, touch, suffer, joy return to the sea of ​​mind. The mind of the river. Many others talk about mind as earth, but the sea is a particular image of the mind that we see only in the teachings of the Sangha.

All seeds filled . The heart can contain all kinds of seeds. Ma seeds, bush seeds. Seeds of saints, ordinary seeds. Seeds of loyalty, the seed of betrayal. We can become saints or robbers because of these seeds in the mind. When a person is described as a loyal person does not mean that he or she does not have betrayal seed. The other person's open minded forgiveness does not mean that he does not have the seeds of hatred and affection.

The problem is in care. If careful, the seed of the saint is preserved, and the seed of the sage becomes smaller, becomes unimportant, unrecognizable. If the ordinary seed is watered, that person will become ordinary. No irrigation, irrigation is very fast.

Reading here is enough for us to cultivate and water the good seeds in us and around us. Our minds have good seeds and bad seeds. They have been cultivated by ourselves or our ancestors, parents, schools and societies. If you act good, you are happy. When you have unwholesome deeds, you irrigate seeds of greed, anger, delusion and violence within you and in others. Mindfulness practice helps us to identify all the seeds in our mind, and with that knowledge we can choose to irrigate what is best for us. When we nourish the seeds of peace and transform the seeds of suffering, the seeds of understanding and love will bloom. When meeting bad people,
