Peace in the Five Precepts -
Human history is always at war, so history is about learning about wars. Peace is a difficult thing for man.
To a celebrity like Einstein, he also asked Freud, in a public poem, " Can liberation be from the war?" Freud replied, " According to the concept of Eros (living instinct) and Thanatos (death instinct) can not separate the aggression, the destruction of human beings .
But Freud also said that cultural development has the potential to end the war because it will make the mind develop. Reason development can control, soothing " instinct of violence, aggression ".
Indeed in human history there are also many who are liberated from the war. Like King Tran Nhan Tong before fighting the Nguyen Mong people, in late 1284, he summoned the elders in the country to ask for opinions or fight in the Dien Hong conference.
After winning the king to release all prisoners of war back home, even ignored the surrender to the enemy, follow the enemy. This is to say that the Tran victory is not a violent victory over violence, but a power of peace to overcome violence; not war won war, but peace won war.
Gandhi conducted a nonviolent war with the British Empire to bring independence to India, the earliest independence in colonial Asia. The power to liberate India is the power of non-violence.
Gandhi's non-violence is inspired by Buddhism. Here we examine non-violent, non-belligerent, peaceful in the Five Basic Principles of a Man. Generally, the Five Precepts are harmless, non-violent, do not cause suffering instilled in the body language. A body of speech will not harm, not cause suffering is a body language can be compassionate.
No killing : no harm to others and nature. In other words, respect for life. This is a peaceful coexistence with the world and the people, including respect for diversity.
Non-robbery: Theft is the use of violence to achieve what you desire illegally. We see corruption, exploitation, speculation ... to plagiarism, plagiarism is violence to the interests of others. These riots are the loss of justice and peace in society.
No sexual misconduct: Having sex with someone without the consent of the two parties (father, mother, family ...) is sexual misconduct. This corrupts the relationship of the two with relatives, and extends it, to society.
Do not lie: (if you add more to the gender is not speaking two-dimensional tongue, not evil, do not say embroidered words). Lying is a disgrace, because this violence is disturbing society, telling lies is hurting others by not being true. Evils like swearing are violent, damaging language, and using language to violate, attack and harm others.
Do not drunk losing control: drunken loss of self-control led to harm others.
Just say so briefly, because the five precepts have places in every corner of life, because the five precepts include the body language means the whole world of a human. It is in violation of the social security and peace of the world. A person who values peace is the one who holds the five precepts. In addition, the five worlds preserve transparency, which is an important element of the well-being of society.
One thing we need to see is that the five worlds are intimately connected. A single precept is committed to the five precepts, even in the mind, because the underworld contains the other four. For example, 'sexual misconduct' means that we have 'stolen' one's purity, 'stealing' of another's family, have 'killed' others, have been 'lying', were 'drunk free'. As 'drunken self-control', for example, by alcohol, we have "lied" to ourselves that alcohol does not harm, we can do 'adultery', can 'steal', and can 'kill'.
The five precepts become more subtle and promote their power more broadly, as our minds become subtle, more sensitive and sharper.
Keep the precepts first for yourself. We have dirty hands dirty, our hands are dirty first. Scolding scolded someone, our mouth hurt before. Think bad evil to anyone, we are infected with bad evil before.
At night, it's raining, the fleas are screaming, they have to step on the grass to go to the toilet, we start a mind do not want to harm, do not want to kill the insects, we avoid as much, Our minds are free of the unwillingness to harm, the desire to preserve our life, then we experience what compassion is. If we keep our minds unwilling to do the same thing for a day, we will find our minds full of compassion, how peaceful our lives are and how happy we are.
Even if I'm writing this song with a mood that's better than mine, I'm ready to counterattack, fight, I've got a warlike temper, I'm violent, I've lost my peace of mind . Peace is a state of happiness.
Do not live by the suffering of others, do not create your happiness on the misfortune of others, but on the contrary want to be happy, be free from suffering, be happy, be peace, That is the Compassionate Harm.
It is the everlasting happiness of the heart of a person that he may have in the world. That happiness can be immeasurable, because compassion can be extended to infinity (Four Infinite Mind). Do not cause pain to others, on the contrary desire and work for the happiness of others, the foundation of this Gender gives rise to all attitudes of Buddhists such as Four, Four France, Prayer, , Six Paramitas ...
We need to see this clearly: gender is peace, the unwillingness to harm in the mind. It has precedence and is required before the law. Law is just what comes after, what to punish what has happened. When the law goes out, everything has already happened, the harm has already done, the suffering has already occurred.
Not harming is not only morality, morality but the whole of culture. Is there anyone who harms others who are considered by the world as heroes, celebrities? And is it because of doing so many benefits, bringing more happiness to others that one is celebrated as a great person, a saint, a saint, a Bodhisattva?
Daily life is still in the midst of this harmless value, although we are less aware of it: the words' sorry ',' thanks', 'let me ...', 'I have bothered ... 'is the expression of a culture that does not harm, the culture of peace. An example of culture: tea of East Asia. Tea is not just tea, but rather drink and enjoy a peace of mind in yourself, where other people and places things.
To keep the precepts is compassion and wisdom open, meaning the Buddha open.
Gender is not a means that we will leave when approaching the final stages of the Buddhist path. On the contrary, gender is the foundation of the path of wisdom and compassion, it can not be separated from wisdom and compassion, and until the end, by virtue and wisdom, it becomes' the virtue of a perfect and complete human being of a Buddha.END=NAM MO AMITABHA BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH TAM GIAC.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN AMITABHA PURELAND=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.4/11/2017.
