If you have not done well in family life for Father and Mother, you can not be worthy of being a human being. The ancient people have the sentence: " Thien duc vu lien, nhieu nhien nhien ". 

As soon as the religious followers still have to bear four weight is the gift of parents, chief of grace, grace sentient beings and grace of country. In the four graces, the Father's grace remains a deep affection to every one of the Buddha. In Tran Nhan Tong's "Tranquility", he wrote:

The gratitude for the birth of the Father is great, as it is heavenly. When the child wants to repay deep grace, then it is as high as the sky does not come, from birth to open eyes, born adults and grown up, parents must suffer so much suffering. However, when the vitality was passed to me, the parent was a bit exhausted, then became "the ancient people."

Whoever grows up tasting the bitter smell, permeate the heel of the sun, will appreciate the gratitude of his parents. One who knows grace, certainly not dare to forget the gratitude of parents. 

The Buddha said: " Monks, there are two classes of people, I say can not repay. how is two? It's Mom and Dad. If one side plays the role of Mother, one shoulder carrying the Father, do so for a hundred years, until the centenary. Thus, these Bhikkhus, have not done enough to repay the Mother and Father. If massaging, anointing, bathing, bathing and even though there, Mother Father has flabby, urinal, even so, monks, have not done enough to repay Mother and Father .. "

In the Father, prominence is virtue; have serious to educate children who are ethical, cultured, later become qualified enough virtue, should count the Father dreadful, tapped like Mount Tai. The virtue of the Mother wants her to be full of life; The mother is often closer, comforting, patting on the children, so the mother's affection, it is rich, skin as the source of endless source. The source of love of mother, it is gentle, warm, quietly flowing never stop. 

The Buddha taught in the Sutra of Compassion: " There is nothing better than filial piety, nothing more evil than filial piety ."

An unfaithful parent is the one who has lost the gift of meaning, the one who has lost the gift of salvation, there is no evil in the world that they do not dare to do, he forgets the source. 

There is nothing like the happiness we have. Every season when Vu Lan, we are dressed in a rose petal. The existence of parents in the family is different from the existence of angels. Father and mother are still the paradise of childhood. Mother and Father are the Buddha in the house. Wanting to attain Buddhahood, there is nothing more than to keep the mind; Want to achieve the Buddha's virtue, nothing more than to maintain good habits. Because of the array of Buddhist worship outside the Buddha worship in the home, so the new sentence: " Buddha in the house does not worship, worship in the streets outside ." 

The Buddha taught: "Which families, the Bhikkhus, in which the children worship the Mother of the Father in the home, these families are accepted equal to the good. Which families, monks, in which the children worship the Mother of the Father in the house, these families are accepted as ancient masters. Which families, the Bhikkhus, in which the children worship the Mother of the Father in the house, those families are acceptable is worth the offerings . 

Brahma, monks, is synonymous with Mother Father. Former masters, monks, are synonymous with Mother Father. Worthy offerings, monks, are synonymous with Mother Father. Why? Help a lot, monks, mother to father, feed them, nurture them, introduce them to life "(Buddhist doctrine, Cat, 7 - 503)

The deep meaning of the Father can be combined into the most wonderful poetry. And naturally, it is considered to be the highest virtue, highlighted most in every age, from ancient to eastern, from east to west. Using the pen to express the gratitude of the Father still with human life. 

Then, as a Buddhist follower, we must report the birth of the parental descent is worthy? The most complete form of filial piety must be composed of two parts: material and spiritual. 

1. On material life, we have to worry about serving and supporting the parents with necessary needs, so that the parents can have peace of mind in the late afternoon. 

2. Regarding spiritual life, we must constantly encourage the parents to learn the dharma, to avoid evil doing good, to preserve the three good karma, to reach for eternal happiness

There is a Zen master, although he was ordained, but still kept filial until his mother passed away : 

"Jiang Jiang is heavy with the burden of 
Heaven is not leave, then 
go 
away. we will rest ".
